Commitment to Education
Mr Naparus believes strongly in the importance of surgical education and knowledge transfer. As Resident Lead for Plastic Surgery, he oversees all plastic surgery residents at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, actively shaping the training environment and ensuring residents receive high-quality supervised clinical experience across the full breadth of plastic surgery practice.
He is committed to evidence-based practice and regularly contributes to clinical governance, quality improvement and morbidity and mortality review processes.
Anatomy Teaching
Mr Naparus has a longstanding relationship with anatomy teaching, having taught anatomy at Imperial College London, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, the University of Oxford, and the University of Toronto. During his time in Oxford, he was Clinical Tutor for multiple Oxford colleges, including Merton College, and served as Anatomy Lead for Plastic Surgery. He was also nominated Surgical Tutor of the Year during his time in Oxford.
For Trainees & Students
Surgical trainees or medical students interested in plastic surgery attachments or observerships should contact the practice by email. Mr Naparus welcomes clinically motivated trainees who wish to experience the range of aesthetic, reconstructive and paediatric plastic surgery in a busy London practice, and takes medical students from abroad, including from Singapore and Europe, as well as students seeking work experience.

Mr Naparus is involved in interviewing and recruiting for all plastic surgery fellow and resident positions at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. Applicants who have been successfully selected for interview are welcome to visit the unit in advance. Unfortunately, due to very high demand, it is not possible to arrange unit visits or reviews before this stage.
