Understanding Your Quote
Costs depend on a number of individual factors — the specific procedure, its complexity, the anaesthetic required, and the venue — and can only be confirmed once you have been assessed in person. A written quotation from Mr Naparus is provided following your consultation, once a treatment plan has been agreed. This is a quote for Mr Naparus's own fee, set out clearly so you know exactly what it does and does not cover.
What Mr Naparus's Quote Includes
- Your consultation(s) with Mr Naparus
- The procedure itself (surgeon's fee — all surgery performed personally by Mr Naparus)
- Post-operative follow-up appointments with Mr Naparus, as clinically indicated
What Is Billed Separately
The following are billed independently by the relevant provider, not included in Mr Naparus's quote, and are discussed and estimated at consultation so there are no surprises:
- Hospital or clinic facility fee (operating theatre, ward or day-case charges)
- Nursing care fees
- Consultant anaesthetist's fee, where general anaesthesia or sedation is used
- Histological examination of any excised tissue — invoiced by the pathology laboratory
- Pre-operative blood tests and other investigations
- Compression garments, where required
- Additional post-operative dressings and wound care products
Insurance Patients
Mr Naparus is recognised by Bupa, Bupa Fee Assured, AXA Health, Aviva Health, Vitality and WPA. Insurance pre-authorisation must be obtained from your insurer before your consultation. This is a requirement of all insurers and cannot be arranged on your behalf. Please contact your insurer directly with the procedure codes provided in your written quotation.
Not all procedures are covered by private health insurance. Purely aesthetic procedures (e.g. facelift, lip lift, cosmetic blepharoplasty) are not routinely covered. Reconstructive procedures may be covered subject to your policy. Please check with your insurer before booking.
Payment
The practice accepts payment by bank transfer, major debit and credit cards. Payment is typically required in advance of elective surgery. A deposit may be required to confirm a surgical date. Interest-free finance may be available — please enquire at the time of your consultation.
